A Blessing to All, Always
Many Unitarian Universalists Congregations, including Granite Peaks UUC here in Prescott, Arizona, have as part of their service the Children's Connection. It's a time when the children and young adults join together and are read or told a story or share their own stories with the congregation. The adults then form a bridge across the aisle with arms out stretched and hands linked above the heads of the children and we sing them out with this cherished song (I apologize for not knowing the author):
GO LIFTED UP,
LOVE BLESS YOUR WAY,
MOONLIGHT, STARLIGHT
GUIDE YOUR JOURNEY INTO PEACE
AND THE BRIGHTNESS OF DAY
I can think of no better words to live by and extend this blessing to you as
A Blessing to All, Always

Hello Lesley and I see you have going this wonderful group ...
"Merry Christmas" from Vegas Bob and Family ... ;o)
And you too Bob. Merry Christmas to you and yours in vegas.
Hello Leslie, thanks for joining the "Go-Givers" group. We appreciate the art of "giving" and celebrate that spirit.
You are featured in the group! Thank you!
Thanks Jeanean. May your holidays be full of giving and the love you receive back.
Hi Lesley, This song really is a blessing. How wonderful that children hear it at a young age!
Every Sunday, Linda. It is always a highlight of the service, as some of the "children" are young teens who challenge the height of our bridge formed by hands clasped high. ;-)
